Esther McLarty is a consultant urological surgeon with an interest in kidney cancer and renal transplantation, and is the current Chair of the Joint Committee on Surgical Training.
A passion for "others not having to go through the same thing I did" started her career in surgical education, and this has been the most rewarding part of her career in many ways. Late to motherhood, Esther is now balancing a 'tweenager' with a surgical and educational career and hoping to age wearing purple.
