Mr. Deepak Batura is a Consultant Urologist at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, where he has practiced for 19 years. He graduated in medicine from India, completing an MBBS, a Master’s in Surgery, and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Sciences, before obtaining an M.Ch in Urology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
With more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Batura has worked in teaching hospitals across the United Kingdom, Asia, and the Middle East, and has held academic appointments at Mumbai and Delhi Universities. His subspecialty expertise includes reconstructive urology, incontinence, endourology, uro-oncology, and functional urology. He pioneered urethroplasty and Peyronie’s disease management within his Trust and is active in research on urological infections.
Mr. Batura has authored over 90 PubMed-indexed papers, presented at more than 40 international conferences, and serves on several editorial boards. He has reviewed over 450 manuscripts for leading journals and international conferences.
