Alexander Turner

Alex is a Consulting Paediatric Urologist based in Leeds. He trained as a paediatric surgeon and his PhD, funded by the Wellcome Trust, centred upon bladder tissue engineering. He specialised in Paediatric Urology via the EBPU Paediatric Urology Fellowship and is a Fellow of the European Academy of Paediatric Urology. Alex’s interests lie in genital and bladder reconstruction and he is a leading specialist in the use of the Da Vinci Robotic surgical device in children. He dedicates his career to education, sitting on the Education Committee of the European Society for Paediatric Urology and is a Quality Assurance Assessor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
