Consultant Surgeon and Associate Chief Medical Information Officer, University Hospital of Leicester NHS Trust
Alex Boddy is a Consultant Oesophagogastric Surgeon at Leicester Royal Infirmary, where he leads the OG cancer MDT and also serves as Associate Chief Medical Information Officer, where he drives innovations in digital consent and clinical documentation. A passionate educator, Alex directs the Leicester Basic Surgical Skills Course. He also has a keen interest in surgical research: he is an Associate Editor for the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons and acts as Principal Investigator for multiple surgical trials.
