Professor Rhea Liang
Consultant General and Breast Surgeon, Bond University and the Gold Coast Health and Hospital Service
A/Prof Rhea Liang is a general and breast surgeon based on the Gold Coast of Australia. She is an MD Curriculum Lead at Bond University and a systems change leader focused on workplace culture and diversity. She also serves as a Gold Coast Health Clinical Council Member.
Her research spans breast cancer management, survivorship care, and workplace culture. Her work within the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons has underpinned the development of a federally funded workplace culture curriculum in Australia for all career stages and specialties of medicine. This initiative, a better culture (abetterculture.org.au), aims to equip learners, trainers, and organisational Leaders (medical or non-medical) with the tools to improve workplace culture.
