Rhea Liang

A/Prof Rhea Liang (MBChB, BA(Ed), MSurgEd, FRACS, FACS, FFSTEd, FAcadME, FRCS(Eng)Hon) is a general and breast surgeon on the Gold Coast of Australia. She is a Gold Coast Health Clinical Council member, MD Curriculum Lead at Bond University, and systems change leader for workplace culture and diversity. She researches in breast cancer management, survivorship care, and workplace culture. Her work in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (https://www.surgeons.org/about-racs/about-respect) has underpinned the development in June 2025 of a federally funded workplace culture curriculum for learners, trainers and organisational leaders (whether medical or not) in all career stages and specialties of medicine in Australia- abetterculture.org.au.
