Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Royal Papworth Hospital - Cambridge

Narain Moorjani is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Clinical Lead for Cardiac Surgery at Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, specialising in complex mitral valve repair surgery. He is also an Affiliated Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge and the Past President of the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain & Ireland (SCTS). He has published several international best-selling, award-winning cardiac surgery textbooks, including 'Key Questions in Cardiac Surgery', 'Cardiac Surgery: Recent Advances and Techniques' and ‘Operative Mitral and Tricuspid Valve Surgery’. He has recently completed his term as Council Member for the Royal College of Surgeons of England but has continued in his role as RCS Lead for Parents in Surgery.
