Edward St John is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon working at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Portsmouth. He is the Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Concentric Health, an InnovateUK & SBRI supported platform for digital consent and enhanced shared decision making. Concentric is the most used clinical digital consent application in the UK, used in over one quarter of the NHS, over two million patients, and 30,000 clinicians. He is the Partnership Lead of the Innovation Hub for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is passionate about healthcare and effective, safe innovation. Amongst other skills he has domain expertise in consent and shared decision making, the evaluation of medical devices and digital health.
