Ms Deepa Bose is a consultant in orthopaedic trauma and limb reconstruction at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. She works exclusively with adult patients, covering general trauma, major trauma and post‑traumatic limb reconstruction.
She is Honorary Secretary to the British Orthopaedic Association.
She recently completed her term as Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee for Trauma and Orthopaedics in the UK, which advises on the curriculum and other training matters.
Ms Bose has been part of the Emergency Response Team at UK‑Med since 2012. This first‑response team provides international disaster relief, and she regularly takes part in humanitarian projects in Guyana, Gaza and Ukraine.
