British Association of Urological Surgeons
Founded in 1945, the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) is a UK-based charity and the professional membership association for urologists in the UK. BAUS exists to promote the highest standard in the practice of urology for the benefit of patients by fostering education, research and clinical excellence. It represents over 2,500 members, including consultants, SAS / LED doctors, trainees, medical students and allied health professionals with its vision being that all those involved in urology are supported to deliver excellent care through lifelong education and training. Through its work, BAUS plays a central role in shaping cutting-edge, innovative urological services, improving patient outcomes, and providing clinical expertise to national decision makers within the healthcare sector.
